Take a Tour of PlantLog

Define & Organize

Completely customize what assets and activities you want to track and how.
Everything you would need to keep tabs on can be tracked with the PlantLog CMMS.

Organize assets and activites into groups.

Define the assets and activites that you want to track. These are called Systems in PlantLog and they usually have barcodes assigned to them.

Apply a recurring schedule to any system that you want to ensure is inspected at a periodic interval.

Set any system to inactive if you want to temporarily restrict users from collecting data on it.

Define the specific data points that will belong to each system. These are the metrics you will track for the asset or activity.

Designate possible readings as an exception to separate typical readings from those that fall outside of normal thresholds.

Perform Field Data Collection

Take the guess work out of field data collection. PlantLog guides you through each step and ensures it is accurate and complete.

Easily identify an asset or activity by scanning its barcode tag with the mobile device.

The home screen gives you an overview of how the data is organized and a quick look at the current completion status of the systems.

You can scan a barcode at any time to input data for the system, or, select a group and see all the systems inside while filtering by completion status.

The gold bell indicates that the schedule for this system is currently due.

This input screens lets you enter a numerical value for an item of an asset or activity.

The light bulb icon shows that details text has been provided by the administrator, which lets the mobile user read further details or instructions about this item.

This input allows the user to select from a list of options for an item that has been defined by the administrator.

The inactive button allows the mobile user to void entry for the item. This can be useful when a gauge is broken or other situation that prohibits the entry of valid data.

Log events and activities with Journals

Replace your Operator Logbooks with Journals that let you record the details of any event or activity in your facility.

Assign a journal record to any group that has been defined by an administrator.

All journals can be categorized by type so that related records can be grouped together.

PlantLog allows users to modify the data and time to reflect when the event or activity took place.

Just about anything can be tracked using a journal; maintenance activities, shipments, contractor visits, alarms, and more.

View & Track Historical Data

Easily view the history of any given asset or activity that has been defined.
Filter by record type or date range and quickly see values that fall outside of acceptable thresholds.

View the date and time a record was taken and who completed it.

See each value for every data point that was created for the asset or activity.

Exception values are those that fall outside of predefined thresholds and are always displayed in red.

Read additional notes entered by users while they performed the inspection with the mobile device. Useful for recording special conditions or observations.

Administrators can later make changes to historical values to correct errors. A complete paper trail of who and what was changed is retained.

Quickly export any data in PlantLog to a Microsoft Excel file for easy sharing with coworkers or external parties.
